Dream no more, thanks to a 22 year old China programmer inventing this great product call “Apple Peel 520″. This gadget turn the iPod Touch into iPhone, which means, you can make call and send SMS using the iPod Touch… how?

The Apple Peel 520 just like the casing for iPod Touch, it contains a battery, dock connector and SIM card that allows voice calls. Users will also required to install special software to enable a text messaging function, and to allow the device to properly work with the iPod Touch. (You may required to jailbreak the iPod OS before you can do so).

Heard the Apple Peel battery can allow up to 5 hours talk time and 120 hours standby time and its only cost RMB500, which is around RM250 only. Still cheaper than iPhone.

I trying to restart the httpd from the web control panel but no luck, so I gonna ssh into the server and do the job.

Sometime the httpd service not gonna start/restart and it just fail and you will see this message:-

(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

If thats the case, you may take the following step:-

First, run this command to see if any service using port 80/443

netstat - tulpn | grep :80

netstat - tulpn | grep:443

Then, try to kill these service using killall command

killall -9 httpd

Then start the httpd service again.

If still cannot, then you gonna kill the apache service by following this step:-

First, check the apache service using this command

ps -aux |grep httpd

Then you will see something like this

root      5004  0.0  0.0  4384    4 ?        S    Apr25   0:00 bash
mysql     5095  0.0  0.7 41968 7980 ?        S    Apr25   0:47 ./mysqld --user mysql
apache    7323  0.0  0.0 3014368  0 ?        TW   Apr25   0:01

Then, to kill the apache service, run this command

kill -9 7323

Then, start your httpd service again.

Hope this work for everyone, let me know if there is other solutions related to this.

You will face this problem when the iOS crashed, error or affected by some unknown application, but its happen mostly on jailbreaked iPhone.

But no worry, here is the tips how to recover it from the frozen screen:-NOTE:
This will fully restore your iPhone, all your data will be lost. Hope you have a backup of your data.

1. connect your iPhone with iTune using the USB cable
2. open iTunes (it won’t detect your iPhone)
3. now hold the iPhone “Power” and “Home” button at once, DON’T RELEASE
4. hold it…. keep holding it…. until the screen go off
5. don’t release…. keep holding… until the screen turn on
6. keep holding… until the screen show “connect itunes” screen.

Then you are done, now our iPhone should have establish connection with your iTunes in Restore mode, simple click restore and your phone will be restore to default setting.

<Video> tag is one of the cool tag which simplify the video playback on webpage, which previously required 3rd party browser plug-ins (e.g Adobe Flash Player).

Now no more worry! with just a simple line of code, you will able to get your video play on most of the web browsers and smart phone… including iPhone!

For a web developer, browser compatibility is always the trouble, especially IE browser, but no worry now, thanks to Google chrome frame.

I always give myself an excuse that, the gym room subscription fee is expensive, no time to go or bad traffic. Now I find a solution to resolve this problem, is to do exercise at home, its easy and no equipment needed.

This is a very simple abs workout call “Air Bike/Bicycle Crunches”, which can be done on bed or floor.

Perform 4 set daily, 15 secs each set, NOT more than 30 secs rest in between set. Slowly increase the time for each set close to failure. (Failure is good for body workout).

1. Lie flat on the floor with your lower back pressed to the ground. Put your hands beside your head.
2. Bring knees up to where they are perpendicular to the floor, with your lower legs parallel to the floor. This will be your starting position.
3. Now simultaneously, slowly go through a cycle pedal motion kicking forward with the right leg and bringing in the knee of the left leg. Bring your right elbow close to your left knee by crunching to the side, as you breathe out.
4. Go back to the initial position as you breathe in.
5. Crunch to the opposite side as you cycle your legs and bring closer your left elbow to your right knee and exhale.
6. Continue alternating in this manner until all of the recommended repetitions for each side have been completed.

Notes: While you cannot add resistance to this exercise you can concentrate on perfect execution and slow speed
